Welcome To Lynn Haven,
Florida. Lynn Haven is located in Bay
County, on the panhandle of Florida. The community was named after W.H. Lynn an
area promoter and magazine publisher.
Lynn Haven is located in the Central Standard Time Zone with an
elevation of just 13 feet above sea level (yes it floods here during a storm). The population is estimated at 15,654 (according
to Google search).
Lynn Haven is a small community adjacent to Panama City. Lynn Haven is rapidly growing. Sources of income from the area include military bases (Tyndall Air Force Base, Naval Support Activity), construction, and industrial areas. Lynn Haven is reported to have the premier schools for the area (wouldn’t know I don’t have kids!), newer homes and subdivisions. It is located near the prime shopping areas of Panama City.
